Where I was born: West Monroe, Louisiana

Family: Married for 8 years to my wonderful husband Dan. The light of our lives is our 7 year old son, Logan.

Pets: 3 energetic dogs! Sparky, Freckles & Wrangler.

Favorite Things: I have been a competitive powerlifter for 24 years. I started in college at Louisiana Tech and never looked back. I compete at the international level. I am a National referee and will be taking my International Referee test in Nov. My husband & I are also International & National contest directors as well as National team coaches for USA Powerlifting. Through powerlifting I have met and have friends around the world. We travel extensively through powerlifting, competing & coaching. We also love to take our Jeeps and hit the trails around Colorado, occasionally getting stuck in mud holes!

My job is to accelerate learning for every APS student, every day. I do my job by building relationships with my students and their families, planning for precise instruction, monitoring progress and differentiating instruction. My community needs me to do my job.
